This is an INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE NOTICE only. The Department of Veteran Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16, intends to issue a sole-source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(c) (1) - FAR 6.302-1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements), to Teleflex Medical Incorporated, located at 3015 Carrington Mill BLVD RD, Morrisville North Carolina 27560. Services will be for one (1) base year plus four (4) option years under NAICS 811210. The Contractor shall provide a comprehensive maintenance plan for the ACS Optimus systems used at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Healthcare System (SLVHCS), 2400 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70119. This action will result in a firm-fixed-price service contract. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; due to the unique characteristics needed for this service, Teleflex Medical Incorporated is the only responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Therefore, this service shall be procured through a sole source contract without competition under FAR 6.302-1. REQUIRED SERVICES: The Contractor shall perform annual PM services and provide a comprehensive maintenance plan for the ACS Optimus systems used at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Healthcare System (SLVHCS), 2400 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70119.
