PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office (NCO 21) intends to award a sole source, Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to SIEMENS HEALTHCARE DIAGNOSTICS INC. for Blood Gas Analyzer Reagents, Controls, and Supplies. The procurement is on behalf of the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Regional Procurement Office West (RPOW), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21, on behalf of Northern California Health Care System. Given the market research conducted and the conversation(s) with the OEM, there are apparent authorized distributors available for the reagents, controls, and supplies; however, warranty and service agreements are available only via the OEM.
