USACE requires curatorial services to carry out this responsibility. USACE recognizes the benefits which will accrue to it, the public and scientific interests by housing and maintaining the collection for study and other educational purposes. The Yakama Nation Museum and Cultural Center (Yakama Museum; Repository) and the USACE recognize the U.S. Government's continued ownership and control over collections and any other U.S. Government-owned property provided to the Repository, and the U.S. Government's responsibility to ensure that the collection and the property are suitably managed and preserved for the public good.
