This Pre-Solicitation Notice is being issued by the United States Army Corps of Engineers - Chicago District to inform interested/potential contractors of the District's imminent issue of an Invitation for Bid Package for its construction project entitled, "Chicago Harbor Breakwater Repair and North Pier Resurfacing in Cook County, Chicago Harbor Breakwater and North Pier, Illinois." PROJECT INFORMATION: Under the contract, the contractor will be required to drill and grout along 1,000 ft of the Chicago Harbor outer breakwater to stabilize the existing structure. Main scope includes concrete resurfacing along the north pier and additional scope includes repair of a failed slab to the North Basin Wall as well as construction of a retaining wall at the eastside of the pier.
