HVAC Optimization Design-Build Project Seattle US District Courthouse Sources Sought & Request for Qualifications The purpose of this Sources Sought & Request for Qualifications notice is to determine availability and capability of qualified Small Businesses, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, Woman Owned Small Businesses, or HUBZone small businesses. Responses to this notice will be used for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government. This notice is intended strictly for market research. This procurement will be advertised under North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 238220 - Plumbing and HVAC Contractors Addition, The small business size standard for NAICS code 238220 is $15.0M in average annual receipts over the past three (3) years. Project Summary The purpose of this project is to reduce the energy consumption of the HVAC systems, correct design issues, and provide better space conditioning for the tenants. The US District Court and various other federal tenants occupy the Seattle USDCH. GSA is responsible for operations and maintenance of the building. Building The United States Courthouse in Seattle was designed in 1998, with construction completed by August 2004.
