Page 5 of 5 Page 4 of 5 PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE This Notice of Intent is to inform all parties the Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Acquisition, Logistics, and Construction (OALC), Regional Procurement Office West (RPOW), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21 intends to award a sole source delivery order to Bracco Diagnostics Inc., 510 Carnegie Center, Suite 300, Princeton, NJ for the procurement of Rubidium (Rb 82) generators, infusion system leasing, and associated consumables required to support Cardiac PET imaging for clinical operations. The procurement is necessary to ensure continuity of care and to maintain compatibility with the VA s existing Bracco CardioGen 82 systems, infusion components, and elution protocols. The VA Northern California Health Care System (VANCHCS) Mather requires a continuous supply of generator produced radioisotope. The contractor shall provide Rb 82 generators, infusion system support, cart lease services, patient lines, and any additional items needed to ensure optimal clinical functionality for VANCHCS Mather, CA. Delivery of the Rb 82 generator will occur approximately nine times per year. The infusion system and all required materials and supplies will be furnished under the delivery order.
