This is the solicitation for the construction of a fire lane surrounding building 1643 for emergency vehicle access. Approximately 16,600 square feet (SF) of area located on the east and north sides of the building, in two separate zones, will need to be demolished/prepped and replaced with concrete. These concrete slabs will create an adequate fire lane for emergency access and eliminate the Foreign Object Damage (FOD) hazard that currently exists. In accordance with FAR Provision 36.204 and DFARS 236.204, the magnitude of construction for this requirement is between $250,000 and $500,000.
