SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS / REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) 1.0 DISCLAIMER & IMPORTANT NOTICES This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS / REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) published in accordance with RFO Part 10 and R-DFARS PGI 206.103-170. This announcement does NOT constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), Invitation for Bids (IFB), or Request for Quotation (RFQ), nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will not award a contract based solely on this notice or responses to it. The Government is not obligated to pay for any information submitted in response to this announcement, nor will it reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparing responses. Participation is strictly voluntary. Failure to respond to this synopsis does not preclude participation in any future competitive solicitation, should one be issued. Any information submitted will be used solely for market research and acquisition planning purposes. 2.0 PURPOSE & INTENT The United States Air Force (USAF) is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of providing brand-new, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)-certified replacement parts and specialized factory calibration/diagnostic services for next-generation Anthropomorphic Test Devices (ATDs) also known as manikins.
