The Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific) hereby publicizes its intent to solicit, negotiate, and award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to The MathWorks, Inc., Natick, Massachusetts, pursuant to 10 U.S.C. ? 3204(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.103-1, using the commercial acquisition procedures of FAR Part 12. The requirement is for the following: Item 0001 - Enterprise Desktop Programs - Manufacturer: The MathWorks, Inc. - Quantity: 1 - Period of Performance: 01 August 2026 ? 31 July 2027. Based on an approved Justification and Approval (J/A), the Government has determined that The MathWorks, Inc. is the only responsible source capable of satisfying the Governments minimum requirements. A redacted copy of the approved J/A is attached to this Notice of Intent. This Notice of Intent is for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive quotations, proposals, or offers. The Government intends to award this requirement on a sole-source basis to The MathWorks, Inc. Any entity believing it is capable of satisfying the Governments minimum technical and delivery requirements may submit a capability statement demonstrating its ability to meet those requirements without unacceptable risk to cost, quality, performance, or schedule.
