Summary from the notice
The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability for providing Residential Reentry Center (RRC) services (in-house RRC beds) and Home Confinement services (home confinement placements) for male and female Federal offenders held under the authority of United States Statutes located within the boundaries of Essex, Hudson, or Union County, New Jersey. Both the RRC services for in-house RRC beds and the Home Confinement services for home confinement placements shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Statement of Work (SOW) entitled, "Residential Reentry Center, Statement of Work, October 2016." Home Confinement services (for home confinement placements) are specifically defined in chapter 11, Home Confinement, of the aforementioned SOW. Additional requirements for these services are referenced throughout the SOW as well. The Government has included the option to require the contractor provide smartphones to each resident for use during the duration of the RRC and home confinement placement, unless the resident declines or court order prohibits. This line item is not guaranteed and the Government reserves the right not to award this line item. This will be a Firm-Fixed Price contract for services with a one-year base period, and four one-year option periods.
