This is a Request for Information (RFI) only. This RFI is for market research and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation or a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. The Government is not seeking proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondents are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party expense.Description of Requirement: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Chicago District, is seeking sources capable of providing proprietary VEMCO-brand acoustic telemetry equipment, manufactured by Innovasea Systems Inc. This equipment is essential for the continuation of a 14-year-long Invasive Carp Monitoring and Response Plan and must be fully compatible and interoperable with the existing VEMCO telemetry network deployed in the Chicago Area Waterways (CAWS) and Illinois Waterway (IWW).
