The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Edgefield, South Carolina intends to negotiate on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1 with Bellsouth Telecommunications, Inc., 12851 Manchester Road, Saint Louis, MO 63131. This is an award for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5 and the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Government anticipates awarding this requirement as a Firm Fixed Price contract. This acquisition is unrestricted, with a North American Industry Classification System code of 517919. The requirement at FCI Edgefield is to provide phone services for FCI Edgefield and the Camp for the period of October 1, 2021 through September 30, 2022. There is no need for any clearances as services will be provided to FCI Edgefield. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION: Beta.Sam.gov and Payment Information in accordance with FAR 52.204-99, the Government requires contractors be registered in the BETA.SAMs database in order to facilitate Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) payment for deliveries or performance under the respective task orders.
