The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) - Tulsa District (SWT) on behalf of the Southwestern Division (SWD) Regional Planning and Environmental Planning Center (RPEC) has been tasked to solicit and award a Performance Based Remediation (PBR) contract to provide Environmental Remediation Services (ERS) for the High Explosives Burning Ground (HEBG) at the Lone Star Army Ammunition Plant (LSAAP), Bowie County, TX. The HEBG is approximately 16 acres in area. The proposed project will be a competitive, firm-fixed-price C-type service contract procured in accordance with FAR Part 15, Negotiated Procurement, using ?Best Value? trade-off source selection procedures. The type of set-aside decision will depend upon the evaluation of the responses to this Sources Sought.The purpose of this sources sought is to gain knowledge of the interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various members of industry, to include the Small Business Community: Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZone), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), or Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB). The Government must ensure there is adequate competition of responsible firms. Small business, Section 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB and WOSB businesses are highly encouraged to participate.
