***** The purpose of this amendment is to extend the proposal response date from 24 July 2017 to 28 July 2017 **** This is a pre-solicitation notice. The General Services Administration, Greater Southwest Region 7, Acquisition Management Division, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for construction services for renovations to the AJ Ellender Federal Building Electrical System, located at 426 Lafayette Street Houma, LA 70360. All construction required by this project is to be completed during normal working hours. This project and scope intent shall be in compliance with the complete architectural and engineering designs, specifications provided by the A/E Firm M. ARTHUR GENSLER JR. & ASSOCIATES, INC. GS07P15HHD7020 , GS-P-07-15-UT-7011. The scope of work to be performed under the resultant contract includes, but is not limited to, replacement of the Main Switchboard (MSB), Sub-Distribution Panel (Old MSB), Motor Control Center (MCC), control wiring, bus bar and connections removal, Distribution panels, and Transformers as required. The scope of work also includes installation of a 45KW Natural Gas Fueled Emergency Generator. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses in accordance with FAR part 15. The estimated construction cost magnitude for all work under this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00.
