1. THE SUBJECT REQUIREMENT IS BEING SYNOPSIZED IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAR 5.204. THIS IS A SYNOPSIS ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. 2. Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Far East, Public Works Department Atsugi, Facilities Engineering and Acquisition Division (FEAD) has an upcoming multiple year a single award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type performance-based service contract comprised of Recurring and Non-Recurring work items. 3. The scope of work is the following services at U.S. Naval Air Facility, Atsugi, Japan: a. Maintenance, Inspection, and Repair Services for HVAC Systems, Refrigeration, Biocidal Treatment Devices, and other HVAC related equipment: various locations b. Maintenance, Inspection, and Repair Services for Hangars: various location c. Inspection, Testing, and Certification for Aboveground Storage Tank (AST) and Underground Storage Tank (UST): various location 4. CONTRACTOR LICENSING REQUIREMENTS: Any contract resulting from this solicitation will be awarded and performed in its entirety in the country of Japan. Contractors must be duly authorized to operate and conduct business in Japan and must fully comply with all laws, decrees, labor standards, and regulations of Japan during the performance of the contract.
