This is a Sources Sought notice issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 20. The VA is seeking information from Sources capable of renovating surfaces associated with halls and walls throughout the facility. This notice is for market research only and not a request for proposals or quotations. It does not obligate the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract, and no reimbursement will be made for responding. The VA anticipates soliciting this requirement under FAR Part 12 procedures. The anticipated NAICS code is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUIREMENT: This project includes wall coverings, floor finishes, and replacement of ceiling tiles. The Contractor will provide all labor, materials and necessary equipment. All work will meet SOW, drawings, and specification requirements as well as any applicable manufacturer s recommended installation procedures. The project includes: Walls: Remove existing wall finishes and hardware as needed. Prepare surfaces (clean, patch, HEPA/wet sand) to match surrounding areas. Install new wallpaper, wainscoting, or paneling with professional workmanship. Apply high performance primer and premium paint using brush and roller only, spray application is prohibited.
