This is a Sources Sought Notice only. It seeks information from sources that can provide bulk and retail fuel services. No solicitation is being issued at this time. For reference purposes, this SAM notice is numbered SPE603-26-R-5X65. The amount of information available at this time is limited. This notice is also issued for the purpose of market research in accordance with Federal Acquisitions Regulation (FAR) Part 10. The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) - Energy - FESBA seeks potential business sources to perform Fuel Operations, Support Operations, and Management and Administration pertaining to the receipt, storage and handling, and issue services for capitalized fuel products Aviation Turbine Fuel (JP8); Regular Unleaded Gasoline (MUR); Mid-Grade Unleaded Gasoline (MUM); Jet Propellant (JPTS); Fuel Oil Burner (FJ 1/3); Retail Diesel or any additional product designated by the Contracting Officer) at Government-Owned Contractor-Operated (GOCO) fuel facilities in Japan. This includes services for the operation, maintenance, security, and environmental protection of Government aviation and ground fuel facilities at: Kadena AB, Japan; Misawa AB, Japan; and Osan AB, Korea. Firms will be expected to maintain product quality and accountability at these GOCO facilities.
