NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to solicit, negotiate and award a sole source contract under statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1), set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. 173rd Mission Support Contracting intends to award a sole source contract for Air Force Repair Enhancement Program (AFREP) Services for the following: Cable Assembly NSN 6150-01-490-4096, Cable Assembly NSN 6150-01-490-4105, Cable Assembly NSN 6150-01-521-7875, and Cable Assembly NSN 6150-01-490-4099. 173 MSC intends to make an award to AEROTEC SCIENTIFIC, INC. (CAGE 0Z7A3). The justification for the sole source requirements is in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), as there is only one Source of Approved in accordance with DAFI 21-101_ANGSUP. A sole source solicitation should be made which will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract.In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), the proposed contract action is for a service for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(b)(ii).
