Special Notice Special Notice Page 3 of 3 Special Notice *= Required Field Special Notice Page 1 of 3 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, intends to award a sole-source purchase order to the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education, Inc. (ACPE), for accreditation, consultation, and educational support services for the Chaplain Service Office at the Durham VA Health Care System in Durham, North Carolina. ACPE accreditation enables the Durham VA Health Care System to provide accredited Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) to residents and students. Maintaining ACPE accreditation supports the facility s continued operation of its accredited CPE program and, as applicable, its eligibility to request resident training stipends through the Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Academic Affiliations (OAA). The CPE program provides education and supervised clinical training that support the delivery of spiritual care to Veterans.
