DESCRIPTION: Base contract work consists of maintenance dredging of approximately 500,000 cubic yards of sediment within the Delaware River, Philadelphia to Trenton main navigation channel between Newbold Range (Station 124+700) and Cochran Range (Station 150+000). Work includes mechanical dredging with placement of the dredged material into the Biles Island Disposal Area in Falls Township, PA. Dredging will be required to a depth of 24? MLLW (Datum) plus 1? allowable overdepth. There will be an Option for dredging approximately 70,000 cubic yards of material from the Fairless Turning Basin with dredged material placement at the Money Island Disposal Area, in Falls Township, PA.
