Presolicitation Notice for Radiation Safety Officer Services Overview This document serves as a presolicitation notice only. It is important to note that no contract will be awarded based on this presolicitation notice. Contracting Office Information Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) intends to issue a solicitation for personal service support, specifically for Radiation Safety Officer services. Solicitation Details The Request for Quotation will be released as a set-aside opportunity exclusively for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. The expected base period of performance will begin on the date of award and continue through September 14, 2027. The Government plans to award a Firm Fixed Price contract as a result of this solicitation, which will be made available electronically through SAM.gov, the official U.S. Government system for contract opportunities. The anticipated solicitation date is on or about August 18, 2026. Registration Requirements Contractors shall have an active Federal Government contracts registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) when submitting an offer or quotation in response to this solicitation and at the time of award.
