Summary from the notice
This Sources Sought Notice is issued solely for information gathering and acquisition planning purposes. This notice does not constitute a solicitation, Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ), Invitation for Bid (IFB), or a commitment by the Government to award a contract. The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research to identify qualified sources capable of meeting the requirements described herein and to support acquisition planning activities. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to assist in determining the appropriate acquisition strategy for a future competitive procurement. Based on information received, the Government may determine whether a set-aside is appropriate or may pursue another acquisition strategy. The Government will not reimburse any costs incurred in responding to this notice. The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research regarding a potential requirement for Hazardous Waste Disposal Services for the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS). The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, management, transportation, materials, supplies, equipment, analytical services, containers, manifests, documentation, training, facilities, and other resources necessary to support hazardous waste management operations.
