Page 2 of 2 The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA,) Office of Construction and Facilities Management (CFM,) at 1425 Tri State Parkway, Suite 140, in Gurnee, IL 60031 is issuing an updated pre-solicitation notice for a Design-Bid-Build Construction Project for the Great Lakes National Cemetery Phase II Development. This solicitation will be 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses under Solicitation Number 36C10F19R0010. The purpose of this project is to enable the existing national cemetery to continue to provide burial services for eligible veterans in southeast Michigan. Great Lakes National Cemetery is in Oakland County, just north of Detroit near the town of Holly, MI This project will develop approximately 30 acres of undeveloped land to provide approximately 28,400 gravesites, including both casket and cremation sites in new burial sections. The project will include approximately 9,600 pre-placed crypt full casket gravesites, 300 oversized pre-placed crypt full casket gravesites; 6,500 pre-placed urn crypts with integral headstone support boxes, garden niche, or terrace sites; 12,000 columbarium niches; access roads and parking, new committal service shelter, grading, drainage, landscaping, signage and site furnishings, irrigation, new satellite public restroom facility; cemetery-wide electrical evaluation corrections/upgrades; upgrades/ improvements to maintenance complex, security upgrades, re-seal pavement sidewalk joints, replace assembly …
