Page 1 of 1 INTRODUCTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting proposals and subsequently awarding a single Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the design-build (DB) project #523A4-CSI-288 West Roxbury VA Medical Center located in West Roxbury, MA. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The proposed project will be a competitive, firm-fixed-price contract utilizing the design-build approach. The anticipated solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) in accordance with FAR Parts 36 and 15, considering Technical and Price Factors. This project requires comprehensive design-build services for the the 3T MRI Site Preparation Design Build project at the West Roxbury VA Medical Center (VAMC) located in West Roxbury, MA. This project will provide construction of a temporary mobile Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) suite as well as all utility services and finishes necessary in the designated locations to allow for the installation of an MRI system by the Equipment Contractor.
