This is a "REQUEST FOR INFORMATION" only. This Sources Sought Notice is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Responses to this Sources Sought must be in writing. The Montrose VA Medical Center 2094 Albany Post Rd, Montrose, NY 10548 has a requirement for asbestos abatement services in Building 3PT/ sleep study space. The project consists of the removal and proper disposal of asbestos-containing materials (ACM), including friable and non-friable materials, within an approximately 2,300-square-foot abatement area, including approximately 100 square feet of radiator heat shielding. All work performed under this contract shall comply with applicable Infection Control requirements; New York State Department of Labor regulations under 12 NYCRR Part 56 (Industrial Code Rule 56 Asbestos), governing asbestos abatement, contractor licensing, worker certification, notification, and work practices; and all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and standards, including OSHA asbestos regulations (29 CFR 1926.1101) and EPA asbestos regulations (40 CFR Part 61, Subpart M), as applicable.
