The Department of Navy, Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC), Pacific is conducting market research in accordance with FAR Part 10 to identify potential manufacturers capable of producing ruggedized, switchgear mounted, ethernet switches that have equal performance and listing/approval requirements as the SEL-2741 that is manufactured by Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories. Responses from third-party distributors, pass through resellers, or supply brokers who do not directly own the production line or manufacturing rights to a qualified equivalent product will not be considered responsive to this market survey. Fiscal Year 2027 SIOP PROJECT P-8026 ELECTRICAL BACKBONE located at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and IMF Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, requires that the ruggedized, switchgear mounted, ethernet switches demonstrate the following salient characteristics: Industrial Ethernet Communications – Provide a managed industrial Ethernet switch to support reliable communications between protective relays, automation controllers, SCADA systems, meters, and other intelligent electronic devices (IEDs) within the substation network.
