THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE, NOT A REQUEST FOR A QUOTE (RFQ). A RFQ WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND QUOTES WILL NOT BE REQUESTED. In accordance with FAR 6.103.1, the Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, intends to award a firm fixed price a contract modification on a sole source basis for: 1) Additional unforeseen chiller repairs (1 Job) To TRANE U.S. Inc., 3253 E. Imperial Highway, Brea, CA 92821 as the only source. This modification covers essential additional repairs discovered during the performance of ongoing repair work. As the incumbent contractor actively engaged on-site with the equipment disassembled, TRANE U.S. Inc. is uniquely positioned to complete the work without substantial duplication of cost, schedule delay, or compromise to equipment warranties. This notice is published for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive quotes. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 4:00 PM PST on 10/13/2026.
