CONTRACT INFORMATION: This announcement is a "Total Small Business" acquisition to renovate the 3rd Cavalry Regiment (3CR) Wash Rack, Fort Hood, Texas. Firms will be selected based on demonstrated competence and qualifications for the required work. The North American Industrial Classification System code is 236220, which has a size standard of $36.5 million. A firm-fixed-price contract will be awarded. The contract is anticipated to be approximately awarded in September 2019. To be eligible for contract award, a firm must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) database. This contract is a Design Build for the construction of the 3rd Cavalry Regiment (3CR) Wash Rack, Fort Hood, Texas. This project is required now to provide repairs to the failing Central Wash Facility built in 1986, currently occupied by 3RD Cavalry Regiment. The 3rd Cavalry Regiment wash rack provides wash maintenance services for vehicular equipment that support the Army's power projection platform at Fort Hood, TX.
