The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to release a solicitation via Small Business Set-Aside for a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract to design, develop, fabricate, assemble and test a Landing Platform Dock -17 Ship Control System (LPD 17 SCS) to meet the performance specifications outlined in the solicitation. This procurement synopsis has been prepared in accordance with FAR 5.207. The contract period of performance (POP) will consist of one twelve-month base period and four twelve-month option periods. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 334511, with a size standard of 1,350 employees. The applicable PSC code is 2090 (Miscellaneous Ship and Marine Equipment). A sources sought notice was issued in the System for Award Management (SAM) website on 28 SEP 2023 and updated on 23 OCT 2023 under NAICS code 336611, titled “Request for Information for the LPD In-Service Modernization and Shipbuilding”, N00024-24-R-4203.
