This pre-solicitation notice is to inform potential offerors that the East Orange VA Medical Center 385 Tremont Ave., East Orange, NJ 07018 and Lyons VA Medical Center 151 Knollcroft Rd, Lyons, NJ 07939 will be posting a solicitation (36C24226Q0857) on or about August 13th, 2026, to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary for a five-year demolition and asbestos abatement Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC). This IDC contract shall provide both medical centers with demolition and asbestos abatement services over a five-year period on an as needed basis in support of in-house maintenance projects. It has been determined that there are qualified firms in accordance with Public Law 109-461 that are capable of performing under NAICS Code 236220, "COMMERCIAL AND INSTITUTIONAL BUILDING CONSTRUCTION", with a size standard of $45M. Therefore this procurement is 100% set-aside for SDVOSB Businesses. The minimum value of the proposed IDC shall be $10,000.00 and the maximum value of all task orders over the lifespan of the IDC contract shall not exceed $2,000,000.00.
