SOURCES SOUGHT: THIS IS ONLY A SURVEY OF THE MARKET TO DETERMINE IF THERE ARE POTENTIAL CONTRACTORS THAT CAN SATISFY THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENT: PN 2993811 – REPAIR PUNTA BORINQUEN LIGHTHOUSE AT UNITED STATES COAST GUARD BASE BORINQUEN, AGUADILLA, PUERTO RICO. This is not a pre-solicitation notice or solicitation for proposals/quotations. The base bid, on-site work consists of furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, materials, supervision, and transportation necessary for, and incidental to, Repair Punta Borinquen Lighthouse. The following is a general summary of the work: Develop and provide asbestos containing material (ACM) and lead based paint (LBP) investigation and analysis report. Prep surface with a combination of high-pressure water and spot washing with a stiff brush and cleaning solution on 3,200 square feet (SF) of exterior surface at the Punta Borinquen Lighthouse. Prep surface with a combination of high-pressure water and spot washing with a stiff brush and cleaning solution, as well as strip LBP within interior walls and metal stairway (2,560 SF). Repair spalling damage on the exterior wall and overhang on Punta Borinquen Lighthouse. Apply minor repairs to 160 square feet damaged areas, cracks, and unsound surface of exterior surface by dry cutting and patching.
