VThe Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Edgefield, South Carolina intends to negotiate on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1 with Tri-County Transfer Station, Edgefield, SC 29824. This is an award for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5 and the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Government anticipates awarding this requirement as a Firm Fixed Price contract. This acquisition is unrestricted, with a North American Industry Classification System code of 562111. The requirement at FCI Edgefield is to provide landfill disposal services for FCI Edgefield and the Camp for the period of October 1, 2021 through September 30, 2022. There is no need for any clearances as services will be provided to FCI Edgefield at the site of the landfill, and not on government property. FCI Edgefield has their own trucks driven by inmates.
