Pre-Solicitation Notice The Mission Installation Contracting Command - Installation Readiness Center (MICC-IRC) has a requirement from the Army Sustainment Command (ASC) in support of the Logistics Readiness Center (LRC) to procure Full Food Service (FFS) under the Army Food Program to provide quality services in support of the installation food service program that supports the Warfighter with flexible, efficient and cost-effective service. Requirement: The service outlined encompasses dining facility management functions, to include food receiving and storage, food preparation, food serving, remote site feeding, and facility sanitation at Fort Rucker, AL (FRAL). The Contractor shall provide the appropriate amount of qualified labor and management with required training, skills, and experience in order to effectively accomplish the work required by the PWS upon posting of the solicitation. The Randolph-Sheppard Act does apply to this solicitation. Background: The current contract, W911S0-26-P-A021, was awarded to the Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services. The period of performance was executed as indicated below: 7 month bridge. This contract was awarded to the State Licensing Agency (SLA) in accordance with the Randolph-Shepard Act (R-SA), which provides a priority for blind vendors recognized and represented by the SLA, in the award of contracts for, among other things, the operation of cafeterias on Federal property.
