SECTION 1: INTRODUCTION The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Kennedy Space Center (KSC) is hereby soliciting information from potential sources capable of maintaining and operating NASA facilities, systems, equipment, and utilities (FSEU) at KSC and Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (CCSFS); and providing logistics and other technical support services at KSC under a fixed price contract. The Spaceport Infrastructure, Maintenance, and Operations (SIMO) contract will succeed KSC’s Base Operations and Spaceport Services (BOSS) contract; however, complete requirements under the performance work statement are to be defined. Requirements contemplated under this acquisition reflect a significant departure from the services under the BOSS contract and its canceled follow-on procurement for Spaceport Operations and Center Services. Specifically, NASA is assuming end-to-end engineering responsibility for all assigned FSEU. Additionally, NASA will perform engineering analysis, causal determination, technical disposition, system-level evaluation, and corrective-action development. NASA will also directly operate and manage continuous spaceport integration activities including real-time monitoring, conflict assessment, and customer communication for all KSC Spaceport operations.
