The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) is hereby soliciting information from the overall industry for the fabrication of a Mobile Launch Vehicle (MLV). This fabrication will be specialized for the launch of scientific balloon payloads. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on SAM.gov. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this website for the release of any solicitation or synopsis. Scope of the MLV consists of at least one (1) MLV delivered within 18-months after award, with the following minimum and maximum specifications: Min: 820-REQ-13 MLV Chassis Max: 820-REQ-NBOC2-40-1 There may be an option for a second MLV. Interested parties having the required capabilities necessary to meet the above requirements described herein and above, should submit a response of no more than five (5) pages indicating the ability to perform all aspects of the effort. The response should include at a minimum: Contractor’s name CAGE code And a short narrative that states interest and the Contractor’s ability to meet the minimum, maximum, or a mixture of scope.
