The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate and award a firm fixed price sole source contract, in accordance with FAR 6.103 1, for the Evoqua Water Technologies, LLC EON® Portable RO Water Purification System. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333310 Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing, Product Service Code: 4610 Water Purification Equipment and the associated size standard is 1000 employees. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C.3304(a)(1) as implemented by the Revolutionary Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Overhaul (RFO) 6.103-1 entitled, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
