SYNOPSIS: INTRODUCTION: In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 10.002(b)(2), this Sources Sought Notice is for market research and information purposes only at this time and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) is conducting a market survey and is seeking potential sources for the Construct Community Living Center Phase 2 (Minor) Construction project at the Harry S. Truman VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 800 Hospital Drive, Columbia, MO 65201. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Columbia VAMC is seeking a general contractor to completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for the Construct Community Living Center (CLC) Phase II. The purpose of this project is to construct the second phase of the Community Living Center. The 2nd phase will consist of a 24 bed, 20,400 square foot two story addition onto the phase 1 Community Living Center (CLC). The new construction will enable relocation of the final 24 beds out of the existing CLC in the main hospital.
