This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. An Offer is being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quotation (RFQ) is issued on a sole-source basis to ITW EAE in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.” The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD), Airborne Instrumentation Division (AID), has a requirement for the procurement, delivery, installation, and integration of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) line upgrade equipment. Specifically, this requirement is for one (1) Vitronics Soltec Centurion CT820 Reflow Oven and one (1) Electrovert Aquastorm 160 In-Line Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Cleaning System. All equipment delivery, installation, calibration, integration, and training requirements shall be completed within 180 calendar days after the date of contract award. ITW EAE is the only known source capable of satisfying this requirement because it is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the Vitronics Centurion and Electrovert Aquastorm systems.
