FUNDS ARE NOT PRESENTLY AVAILAVLE FOR THIS ACQUISITION. NO CONTRACT AWARD WILL BE MADE UNTIL APPROPRIATED FUNDS ARE MADE AVAILABLE. A Pre-Proposal Conference will be held on WEDNESDAY, 9 JANUARY 2019 FROM 10:00AM- 11:00AM. The call-in number is: 888-204-5984 the ACCESS CODE is: 7541002, and the SECURITY CODE is: 1234. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The project site is located on the east coast of Florida in Brevard County near the towns of Cape Canaveral, Cocoa, Cocoa Beach, and Merritt Island. Canaveral Harbor maintenance dredging will require removal of shoal material from identified dredging areas shown on the plans. Shoal material removed from the sediment trap and between Stations 150+00 Station 182+24 of Cut-2 will be placed in the nearshore placement area. Material removed from all other dredging areas will be placed in the ODMDS. Project work also includes endangered species observers, turbidity monitoring and stand by time. The anticipated Period of Performance is 220 calendar days from issuance of Notice to Proceed. PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS: The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about 14 December 2018 and bids will be due on or about 30 January 2019. NAICS Code 237990, size standard $27.5 million.
