USDOT Roadway Safety Innovation Expo (Safety Expo) is a premier one-day event that will transform the USDOT Headquarters into a high-tech, immersive experience to showcase roadway safety technologies and innovations. The Safety Expo will feature hands-on interactive demonstrations and simulators across the USDOT Headquarters campus in Washington, DC. The Safety Expo is intended to build broad public awareness of these roadway safety technologies and innovations by reaching leaders representing State and local transportation agencies, Members of Congress, industry stakeholders, transportation association representatives, safety advocates, high school and college students, and members of the media.
