NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE; requests for a solicitation will go unanswered. No award will be made from this Notice. Responses will be used to determine potential acquisition strategies, understand current market capabilities, and to gain knowledge of potential sources. GENERAL SCOPE: The Sacramento River Grand Island Mitigation Project is a restoration initiative on a 233-acre site located at the western tip of Grand Island in Sacramento County, California, situated at the confluence of the Sacramento River, Steamboat Slough, and Cache Slough. The project is designed to create and enhance approximately 84 acres of self-sustaining aquatic and riparian habitat as compensatory mitigation for the American River Common Features (ARCF) project. The construction scope entails approximately 108,000 cubic yards of total excavation to establish a tidal channel network and create an interior "habitat bowl" with islands and peninsulas, alongside breaching an existing berm to connect the site to Steamboat Slough.
